Bed-Ridden Wound Care Program

Our Bed-Ridden Wound Care Program is designed to provide specialized care for individuals who are confined to bed and at risk of developing pressure ulcers or have existing wounds that require treatment. Our team of experienced wound care nurses and healthcare professionals work together to develop personalized care plans that promote wound healing, prevent complications, and improve overall quality of life.

Tips for Preventing and Managing Bed-Ridden Wounds

  • Reposition every 2-3 hours to relieve pressure on bony prominences
  • Use pressure-relieving mattresses, cushions, or devices as recommended by your healthcare provider
  • Keep skin clean and dry, and use gentle, pH-balanced cleansers
  • Manage moisture by using barrier creams or ointments and absorbent pads or dressings
  • Maintain a balanced, nutritious diet to support wound healing and overall health
